The Teacher's Integration Program (TIP)

For certified yoga teachers and keen students

with Shannon Cluff, Studio Director

Next Session

Sunday, February 26th

7:30-10:30pm

Topic: The Expressive

How do we grow and change through our yoga practice? What actually changes in the brain and body and why do we feel better emotionally and more relaxed in the world? We will be discussing how we change, heal and evolve spiritually, the heart and throat chakras, relationships and comunication, the function of the shoulder girdle in relation to the arms, neck, and head. Posture focus is arm balances and seated poses.

The Teacher's Integration Program (TIP) is a series of 8 continuing education workshops for certified teachers and keen students. Certified teachers may be within the first 5 years of teaching and focused on making yoga their career. Keen students whomay be moving towards a teacher training are intermediate to advanced in their studies and may come to deepen their knowledge of yoga and self study. TIP grads may come to learn new info and to also learn how to become a mentor themselves. Over the course of eight, three hour sessions on Sunday nights we will delve deeper into the different aspects of yoga that support your growth as a human being (that teaches yoga) and move you towards a part-time or full-time career as a yoga teacher. This will be a chance for you to speak candidly with an experienced teacher and studio owner, to learn the technical and energetic aspects of yoga, to ask questions, to create a plan, to refine your message, to create more clarity in your journey forward and to feel supported by a group of your peers. Many of us feel lost and frustrated in trying to navigate a course in this community and a guide that can see your strengths and help you to work on your weaknesses may be the right answer.  Students are encouraged to attend all eight Sundays but will feel welcome if they drop-in at any time.
